SPIDERS

Spiders are beneficial creatures because they eat other insects. When outdoors spiders do relatively little harm but once inside a home they are often an unwelcome guest. Besides unsightly webbing, the spider is often associated with fear, largely because little is known about it. Lets face it, there are not many people who actually enjoy seeing a spider crawling across their bedroom floor!

Spiders are often associated with moisture like most outside invaders. Therefore, they are often found in basements, crawl spaces and other places where there is a higher moisture content.

All spiders are capable of biting but only two in North America are considered dangerous to man. Those would be the Black Widow Spider and the Brown Recluse Spider.
